Alfheim

Dual-domestic currency systems, the Traditional and the newer Tendrius inspired one. Tendrius signee. Newer system minted at a mint in Alfheim town, run by non-elves there. In a partial currency union with Darokin regarding the Piaster.
System: Traditional system- 1 Ten'er=10 er, bits of polished quartz used for smaller change. Newer (Tendrius inspired) Trade system- 1 Leaf = 10 Petals = 20 Seeds = ½ Piaster.

Alphatian Imperial Standard

Individual kingdoms then also set their monetary systems
UNDEVELOPED AS OF YET - design notes: An unusual base counting system befiting their alien origin. I may switch this to something more Bablyonian/Mesopotamian or I might save that for some of the sub-kingdoms.
Denominations: Crown, Mirror, Judge

Usable in: Alphatian Empire, many Thyatian parts of the Isle of Dawn.
Foreign currencies circulating within the empire: ????. Individual kingdoms have their own systems.

Atruaghin Clans

Bear Clan only: Coins produced by Darokin for trade with the Bear Clan in the hopes that a monetary system will eventually catch on amongst the clans. For now though they remains a majoritly barter economy.

Denagothian plateau

In addition to Barter, the inhabitants use the old Essurian bit system of different weight denomination “bits” of different metals. 10 bits of copper=1 of Silver. 20 bits of silver=1 of Gold. An Electrum bit (equal to 8 silver bits) is catching on in the northern parts of the plateau.

Dengar

The following is in addition to Platinum Jewellery and Gems

Ethengar

The use of Tangs in different of different values and metals, from a Copper 1 tang (0.1 in value) up to a Gold 10 Tang (200 in value) and various values inbetween.

Five Shires

Dual domestic and trade systems which are for all purposes equal. Partial adherence to the Tendrius agreement
NOT YET COMPLETE, teaser:
denominations: Yellow Trade Bar (Large), Yellow Trade Bar (Small), Silver Trade Bar, Steel, Star, Point, Sunset
Usable in: Shires. The Trade coins can be found in Mar, Hinmeet, and Athenos. The Domestic system is often used by hin living in Darokin, Karameikos, Ierendi, and even Minrothad. The Trade Bars are fairly widely accepted.
Foreign coins circulating within the shires: Despite the prescence of a trade system, more merchant visitors come to the Five Shires from outside than hin merchants travel abroad so the buying and selling of goods most often takes place in foreign coin rather than in the steel & point system.

Glantri

UNDEVELOPED AS OF YET - design notes: the Ducat denomination and name is a descendent of a Darokinian Ducato from one of the city states, probably Corun's Glen.

Barter and The Essurian bit system (see Denagothian Plateau), with the addition of a zinc-nickel alloy where one bit of it has a value of 0.05.

Ierendi

UNDEVELOPED AS OF YET
Likely denominations: Gena, Pali, Electrum Geleva, Gali, Silver Geleva, Sana, Cokip
usable in: Ierendi, Athenos (Pali & Gena, sometimes Gali grudgingly so, others at a discount), Coastal settlements of the five shires (again, the Pali, Gena, & sometimes Gali at a grudgingly acceptance with a discount to the others). Specularuam (the Pali & Gena at a discount).

Karameikos

de facto adherence to Tendrius System. Thyatian Imperial coins heavily imported and they co-circulate. Bit system not controlled by any central mint, however value is too miniscule to worry about any counterfiters. Bit in thyatian called "Aes", in Traladaran called "Brass", translated as "Bit" in most other languages.
System: 1 Crona = 10 Kopecs = 40 standard Bits

Kopec Copper 0.1 60 Rare, often broken or cut up to make change. The Duke has the mints producing more. Modeled on the Thyatian Denarius thus de facto Tendrius system

Currently no Gold coin in domestic production, something the Duke desires to rectify

Usable in: Karameikos, Selenica, Machetos, and Eastern parts of the Shires. Minrothad and Ierendi merchants in Mirros may accept it.
Foreign coins circulating in the Grand Duchy: Minimal (other than the Thyatian Imperial coins). Some darokinian coins brought by merchants, some thadder coins in Mirros, Shire currency occasionally utilized by hin living within Karameikos.

Landfall

Officially uses the Alphatian Imperial Standard, but Thyatian, Minrothaddan, Darokinian, and other currencies are also common. Also use of “Markers” (see Gaz F8)

Littonia

Wide usage of Barter, especially of Amber.

usable in: Minrothad Guilds and almost any port city from Slagovich to Cape Alpha.
Foreign currency circulating within the Guilds: Officially None. Some small scale usage of Shire currency as supplemental coin amongst the hin.

Co-circulates alongside Thyatian coinage in most cities and their immediate surrounds.

Foreign currencies circulating on the Isle: techincally none sinc technically Thyatian would not be 'foreign'. Thyatian coins co-circulate, especially in most cities their immediate environs.

Ostland

The Northern reaches have a common copper piece, the Oren

System: 1 Krone = 5 Eyrir = 50 Oren = ¼ Krona
usable in: Ostland, Norrvik, Landfall, Helskir, and the Ostland territories on the Isle of Dawn. Oren usable througout the Northern Reaches.
foreign currency circulating in Ostland: only rarely can some Thyatian and Thadder coins be found. Foreign coins usually melted down.

Savage coast

UNDEVELOPED AS OF YET - design notes: based on old Thyatian with nummus, Nummi, Siliqua, Tremissies, Semissis, etc. coins made of cinnabryl/red steel?

Usable in: Soderfjord. The Oren is common to all the Northern Reaches. Only the Penne is begining to get some international acceptance.

Co-circulates with Thyatian coinage
UNDERDEVELOPED AS OF YET - design notes: Ispan/Spanish and Pirate influenced, Minrothad Infulenced. Peso made up of 8 reales hence "Piece of 8".
System: 1 Real = 320 Maravedis = 2000 Reis = 1/8 Peso; Peso = ½ Escudo = ½ Doubloon.
Usable in: Terentias, Machetos?, Nueva Ispanola (Dubloon, Peso, and Real only), Pirate bases?

Thothia

UNDEVELOPED AS OF YET - design notes: In addition to Alphatian standard, domestic coins of Debens & Qedets based on RW ancient egyptian currency/measures.

Thyatian Imperial Standard

Founding member of the Tendrius agreement, both rounds. Was promulgated in conjunction with adoption of the Tendrius system in the hopes of replacing the chaotic domestic system but has not replaced it, now circulates alongside various domestic systems.

Usable in: Througout the Empire, in many Alphatian parts of the Isle of Dawn, Selenica.

Thyatian Traditional systems

Chaotic. Many issuing authorities, hence coins often not to specifications. Multitude of denominations, the following can only cover the most commonly encountered such issues

System: 1 Nomismata = 12 Miliaresion = 288 Follis. 1 Hyperpiron = 10 Semissis. many others.
Usable in: Theoretically usable throughout the mainland empire (or the Isle of Dawn if originating there, or other respective colony) but in reality, asides from the most well known examples, are rarely encountere far from the issuing dominion.

Vestland

Ylaruam, Central system

Tendrius member. This is the widespread system issuing from the central government, individual emirates have additional denominations supplementing this.
NOT QUITE DONE, Teaser:
System: 1 Dirham = 5 Falus = 10 Fal = 1/20th Dinar.
Usable in: Ylaruam, Selenica, Tel Akbir, Biazzan (except the Fal), and a few towns of the Isle of Dawn (except the Fal). The Ylari minority in Ierendi city make a point of using Ylari currency amongst themselves instead of the infidel currency of Ierendi.
Foreign coins circulating within the Emirates: Darokinian (common in Makistan, also can be found in the main trade towns of central and western Ylaruam). Some older Thyatian coins are in common circulation in the towns of Dythestenia and Nicostenia. Dengar coins can be found in Makistan and amongst dwarven emigrees in the dwarven quarters of the larger settlements.
